30-MAR-JAN-2011 - The East Coast Z Association will host it’s annual spring meet on Saturday, April 30, 2010 at JTune Performance, 420 Century Boulevard, Wilmington, Delaware. The meet will run from 11:00 AM until approximately 3:00 P.M. Nissan Z cars of all vintages are welcome to attend. Dyno tuning will be available from JTune Performance. 14-JAN-2011 On September 5, 2010, Jay McKinney, a ECZA member, was involved in serious accident and nearly lost his life while on a day trip to north-central Pennsylvania with his family. Jay was immediately airlifted to Geisinger Medical Center where he spent more than 6 weeks in the intensive care unit. Jay suffered a lacerated liver and colon and multiple broken bones, among other injuries. After many surgeries and excellent critical care, Jay is currently undergoing rehabilitation therapy. Jay is self-employed, and in addition to the physical and emotional trauma the accident has caused, the financial burden is significant. Jay is still unable to work and his wife, Marylou, has only been able to work on a very limited basis since the accident occurred because she must care for Jay. Due to their loss of a regular income, their bills continue to mount. To help Jay and Marylou pay for his medical expenses, Union Fire Company No.1 and Jay’s family and friends are holding a beef and beer fundraising event on Saturday, February 12th from 4:00–9:00 p.m at the Union Fire Company No.1 Memorial Hall, 315 Market Street, Oxford, PA. Any ECZA member wishing to attend this event or make a donation to support Jay can download the information in the attached flyers. Pat

07-SEP-2010 The East Coast Z Association in conjunction with Porter Nissan will hold a Fall Car Show on Saturday, October 9, 2010. The show will take place at Porter Nissan located at 303 East Cleveland Ave, Newark, Delaware 19711. The show will begin at 11:00 A.M. and will last until 2:00 P.M. Judging will be “Dealers Choice”. Food and drinks will be provided by Porter Nissan.Come out and celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Z Car. For more information, please email Patrick McCall at pats300zx@aol.com. 23-MAY-2010 The ECZA would like to thank everyone that participated in and supported the first annual East Coast Z Nationals in Carlisle, Pa. We have over 75 Z’s show for the event. 22-FEBRUARY-2010 On May 22-23, 2010, five Tri-State area Z clubs will be hosting the East Coast Z Nationals as part of Import Kit Nationals at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The hosting clubs include the White Rose Z Club, Maryland Z Club, East Coast Z Association, Connecticut Z Car Club, and the New Jersey Z Car Club.The event will include a Peoples Choice car show on Saturday (May 22) and a track event on Sunday (May 23) at the Quarter Ace Drag way in Mount Holly Springs, Pa. The car show will be judged by Z vintage classes and all show participants will be able to vote on their favorite Z’s. The show will also have 50/50’s and raffle prizes. Hotel accommodations (50 rooms) have been secured for the event at the Hotel Carlisle in Carlisle, Pennsylvania at a rate of $111.00 per night. The hotel website is [ http://www.hotelcarlisle.com ] The hotel is one of the nicer hotels in the area and does not require a two night minimum like other hotels in the area for this weekend event. Rooms can be reserved under the name “East Coast Z Association”. A social get together is planned for Saturday night in the hotel lounge following the car show. Rooms must be reserved by April 22, 2010. All East Coast Z National event participants will be staying together at the hotel in one of hotel carriage houses.
